We want to share a story with you. This story is about Deb, one of our treasured guests who lived on the East Coast at the time of our trip.

Like many women who travel with us, Deb was going through an incredibly challenging season in her life. She had recently lost her adult daughter to cancer, and her tragic experience left her feeling heartbroken, empty, and lost. She knew she needed an escape in order to process her loss and figure out what her life would look like after her only daughter passed away.

Through an online search, Deb found Canyon Calling at exactly the right time.

She decided to join us on one of our signature trips, The Sedona Sojourn, with hopes that the gorgeous scenery would provide a soothing balm to her soul. Deb was right — she immediately fell in love with the captivating landscape and calming energy in the Sedona desert.

She knew her surroundings would be inspiring on the trip, but Deb wasn’t expecting a truly transformative adventure.

To deepen the mystical desert experience, we offered the guests on the trip the opportunity to meet with a psychic who’s renowned in the region. This healing experience… this trip… this group of women… they were all exactly what Deb needed.

She walked away from the trip more whole — with a healthy sense of self, purpose, and what her next steps would be. After this adventure, Deb booked several more trips with Canyon Calling. And, like most women do on our trips, she became a tight tribe with her travel companions and guide.

This adventure of a lifetime inspired Deb to move to Sedona in 2019, and she’s living a bright life again — amongst the majestic canyons, healing energy, and glorious red rocks.
